About Us
As a network organization of NGOs, we try to make
the member organizations administration effective, financial and funding aspect
potential, mutual sharing of experiences and cooperation in the implementation
of similar projects in their target region. NCI is looking to provide a best
way to reduce poverty. By actively getting engaged with social organizations,
there is a best chance to come up with sustaining solutions. We aim to
strategically connect deeper professional skills gaps within these
organizations by substituting professional support.

Structure
NCI is managed by a Trust Board of 3 female and 2
male having vast experience in the service sector. There are Subject Matter
Specialists to appraise the programme of activities and give its input for
effective implementation and monitoring with definite goals for achievement.
It is a national level body having its branch
offices at the prime points of every state and union territory of India. The
state level unit will consist of a Coordinator, project selection body along
with band of volunteers. A Project Selection & Monitoring Committee is
composed of heads of state units and member NGOs. It will act to advise the
member groups about development trends relevant to NCI’s mission & goals;
about priority development concerns and help guide the funding of selected
projects. Meetings are held every quarter.

The purpose and object of the trust are:
a) To promote
a national level collective of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs),
Non-profit making bodies and their activities by forming state level chapters in
order to reach the poor, tribal and disadvantaged target people effectively for
their developmental activities.
b) To
undertake and implement schemes, projects and tenders of State and Central
Government of India at various states, liaise with government departments, act
as a nodal agency in the implementation and reporting.
c) To work with
international agencies like World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNICEP, UNEP,
UNDP, DFID, EUROPEON COMMISSION, CIDA, JFID, AuSAID, SIDA, Embassy projects and
other bodies in the implementation of the programmes for the eradication of
illiteracy, poverty, disease, hungry and social security of Indian people within
the frame work of Indian Constitution.
d) To maintain
“National & International Volunteers
Body” in order to streamline their interest field of deputation at various
member NGOs. Collaborate with universities to engage students to share, consult,
exchange and collaborate various schemes and projects. It will depute national
and international volunteers for a short duration, execution of particular
project implementation.
e) To work for
the sustainability of NGOs by increasing their access to donors, resources, and
skills. It will receive support from business industries under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Rules,
2014. The funds will be received all India basis and undertake and implement
the same at different parts of
India. CSR funds will be used for Eradicating hunger & poverty; promoting
education & skill training; ensuring environmental protection, maintaining
quality of soil, air and
water; promotion and development of
traditional arts and handicrafts; training to promote rural sports; and rural
development projects.
f) To establish
‘Natural Disastrous Response Cell’to address the emergency needs of people, promote peace, communal harmony,
non-violence and establishing an equitable social order for the enjoyment of
all living things on this planet earth. To respond to the natural calamities
like cyclone, tsunami, droughts, floods, famines, earthquakes—India has been a
victim to every form of destruction by nature. Rescue, rehabilitation and
emergency medical and food aid to the victims.
g) To
establish, maintain, run, develop, improve, extent, grant, donate and to aid
and assist in the establishment, maintenance, development, improvement and
extension of hospitals, clinics, dispensaries, maternity homes, outreach mobile
medical units and similar institutions affording treatment, cure, rest,
recuperation and other advantages in the way of alleviating the suffering of
humanity.
h) To establish
office complex with training facilities in the name of the organization in
order to work better to reach the beneficiaries of the project of activities at
all major capital of the States and Union Territories.
i) To conduct poor feeding and to give food,
clothing and cash grants to the poor, needy aged, orphans, differently-abled,
trans-genders and defectives without any caste, sex, creed, race or religion.
j) To offer relief to people in distress affected
by chronic diseases-TB, HIV/AIDS, Cancer; earthquake, floods, famine and other
causes and to grant donations for the support of the inmates or orphanages,
rescue houses and similar institutions and societies.
k) To liaise
with donor agencies in identifying appropriate NGOs to implement the Skill Development projects. It will channelize
grant in aid or render assistance to secure funding from donors to other public
Charitable Trust or Institutions and societies.
l) To establish and maintain educational
institutions like schools, colleges (general, Medical and Engineering),
Industrial training Institutes, Polytechnic, Research Institutes for the
development of Human Resources;
m) The objects
stated herein before shall be independent of each and Trustees hereinafter
constituted may from time to time apply income, gains, profits and funds of the
“Trust” for carrying out or performing the objects of the Trust in India.
